In my career as an Operational Excellence (OE) practitioner the life sciences I have found a number of professional certifications to be extremely useful – not so much for the piece of paper, but rather for the value I gained through education and preparation that went into it. This set of certifications goes beyond the typical Six Sigma belts to cover other knowledge areas I’ve found extremely relevant to my OE work. Specifically, I’m thinking of OE Concepts and Tools, Project Management, Life Sciences Industry Knowledge and Facilitation Skills. In this blog post, I would like to share information about these and also list several additional certifications which I hope to acquire in the future.
